Fall no longer means you should put away your sunglasses. It’s quite the contrary. No matter where you live or what time of year it is, if you spend time outdoors then you need to protect your eyes from the harmful UV rays.

Glare is truly the enemy when you are driving a car. It reduces your visual acuity, depth perception, and also will distort color. Objects may blur together and colors may wash out. Not what you want to happen when you are navigating the interstate each day.

Glare is also very dangerous because you may experience eye strain, eye fatigue, and possibly temporary blindness while driving boats, cars, while skiing, or any activity where reflective light is present.

We recommend Polarized lenses for most people. They are designed to eliminate or reduce the glare by passing the light rays through a special filter which is imbedded with tiny crystals. These crystals absorb much of the reflected glare.

We carry a large line of sunglass manufacturers such as Maui Jim, Oakley, RayBan, Costa Del Mar, Wiley X, and so many more. Come into our office and we will demonstrate the difference between Polorized and Non-polorized lenses. It’s amazing!
